Cardinals Quarterback Suffers Concussion

He went down in the third quarter.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Colt McCoy went down early in the third quarter of Sunday's game after converting a first down play. McCoy appeared to have suffered an upper-body injury and the cart was brought out for him before he was able to walk off under his own power.
Now, head coach Kliff Kingsbury has confirmed that McCoy is in the concussion protocol. The Cardinals' bad injury luck continues. It remains to be seen if the quarterback will be able to clear the league concussion protocols in time for next week's game.

The thirty-six-year-old completed 13-of-21 passes for 78 yards, no touchdowns and one interception before being forced out. Trace McSorley replaced McCoy and could be in line for a start this coming weekend.
