Cardinals Rule Out Talented Defensive End For Sunday's Game

Out again.

The Arizona Cardinals have ruled out defensive end Zach Allen for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Allen will miss his third game in a row due to a left-hand injury he suffered against the New England Patriots in Week 14. He then underwent hand surgery for the issue on Dec. 14, and, with the Cardinals already out of the playoff race, it remains unclear if the team will even bring him back before the end of the season.

In 13 games this season, the twenty-five-year-old has 47 total tackles, 5.5 sacks and eight passes defended. The talented defensive end is a former third-round pick by the Cardinals in the 2019 NFL Draft.

In his absence, Jonathan Ledbetter will once again be in line for a starting role alongside J.J Watt.
