Cardinals Sign Quarterback

With Kyler Murray out for the season, the Arizona Cardinals are adding another quarterback.

The Cardinals have signed quarterback Carson Strong to their practice squad.

Strong worked out for the Cardinals on Dec. 6, and now that Kyler Murray has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL, the team has added him to their practice squad.

Given that the Cardinals often suit up three quarterbacks, it would not come as much of a surprise if Strong is elevated to the team's active roster later this week. However, he'd be behind Colt McCoy and Trace McSorely on the team's depth chart.

The twenty-three-year-old undrafted rookie has yet to make his NFL debut.
