Cardinals Sign Quarterback

Joining the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cardinals have signed quarterback James Morgan to their practice squad.

This is now the fifth practice squad Morgan has signed with since being drafted by the New York Jets in 2020.

With Kyler Murray going down for the season and, now, Colt McCoy currently dealing with a concussion, Morgan will provide some added depth behind Trace McSorley and David Blough, and could possibly even get into a game down the stretch.

The twenty-five-year-old is a former fourth-round pick by the Jets in the 2020 NFL Draft. He has yet to make his NFL debut.
