Commanders Designate Rookie Tight End For Return

Getting close to his NFL debut.

The Washington Commanders have designated tight end Curtis Hodges to return from the injured reserve.

Hodges has been on the injured reserve with a thigh injury since the beginning of September, but the 21-day window for Washington to activate the rookie back to it's active roster starts now.

With Armani Rodgers and Eli Wolf both on the injured reserve, Hodges has a very good chance to slot into the tight end rotation beside Logan Thomas and John Bates.

The 6-foot-8, 240 pounds tight end is an undrafted rookie out of Arizona State.
