Cowboys Tight End Has Concussion

He was the only Dallas Cowboys player to miss practice on Wednesday.

Tight end Jake Ferguson is dealing with a concussion he suffered in Sunday's 27-23 win over the Houston Texans.

When Ferguson first exited the game last week, it was reported that he had suffered a neck injury, so this is the first news that he actually suffered a concussion.

The rookie tight end will now have to clear the league's concussion protocols if he wants to play this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. If he can't go, Peyton Hendershot will take over as the team's No. 2 tight end behind Dalton Schultz.

In 13 games this season, the twenty-three-year-old has 16 receptions for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 19 targets. He was the Cowboys' fourth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
