Injury Update On Chargers Star Safety

He's missed two straight games.

Los Angeles Chargers star safety Derwin James said Friday that he will play Monday against the Indianapolis Colts.

James has missed back-to-back games due to a quadriceps injury, but he made a full practice on Friday and sounds confident that he'll be able to return in Week 16.

Over 12 games this season, the former first-round pick has 106 total tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles, one interception and four passes defended.

The return of James is a massive boost for the Chargers, who continue to make a push for the playoffs.
