Injury Update On San Francisco 49ers Running Back

The San Francisco 49ers are one of, if not the single hottest team in the NFL over the past two months, as they are winners of eight straight games, and somehow, there's a good chance that this team is going to get even better ahead of the playoffs. 

In his recovery from an MCL sprain, Elijah Mitchell is expected to have the window for his return from Injured Reserve opened on Friday, and while that won't allow him to play in Week 17, he could be set to make his comeback in Week 18 ahead of a playoff run for the incredibly talented 49ers team.

With Christian McCaffrey starring since making his way to The Bay, his return could make this offence even more unstoppable, and if Brock Purdy can translate the regular season success to the biggest moments, this is a team that's primed and ready for a Super Bowl run.
