Injury Update On Steelers Kicker

He has not played since Week 7.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have designated kicker Chris Boswell to return from the injured reserve.

Boswell has appeared to have progressed enough for a return to practice, but it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to play this week against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Steelers have 21 days to add Boswell back to the active roster before he reverts to the IR for the rest of the season, but it seems likely that he'll be ready to return to game action sooner rather than later.

The thirty-one-year-old has converted 12-of-16 field goal attempts and 9-of-9 extra-point tries over seven games this season.

In Boswell's absence, Matthew Wright has filled in and played well, completing 12-of-14 field goals and a perfect 7-for-7 on his extra point attempts.
