Injury Update On Texans Talented Rookie Cornerback

He missed Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Houston Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. has yet to return to practice.

Stingley continues to work off to the side on a separate field at the Texans' practice sessions to open the week, putting his status for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs in doubt.

The budding star continues to deal with the hamstring injury he suffered in Week 10 against the New York Giants. If he can't go this week, Tavierre Thomas and Desmond King will see increased usage again.

In nine games this season, the twenty-one-year-old has 43 total tackles, one sack, one interception and five passes defended. Stingley was the third-overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft.
