Las Vegas Raiders Place Two Key Defenders On IR

After the Week 16 loss, the Las Vegas Raiders are officially out of contention, and have moved on to Jarret Stidham as their starting QB for the final two games of the season, and beyond that, they'll be without two of their most valuable defensive players as they take on the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

That would be defensive end Chandler Jones and linebacker Denzel Perryman, which will end the season for two veterans, and after some strong performances from the Raiders defence in recent times, this will be a massive loss for the final two games.

Despite coming into the year with good career resumes, the two could only combine for 5.5 sacks on the season, but with some juice left in the tank, they'll be big parts of whichever team they play for in 2023 and beyond, but for now, their seasons are both done.
