Lions Sign Quarterback

Joining the Detroit Lions.

With Joshua Dobbs getting snatched off of their practice squad earlier this week, the Lions had to sign another QB.

As a result, the Lions have signed QB Steven Montez to their practice squad.

Montez spent the 2021 season with the Lions' practice squad before landing a reserve/future contract with the team at the end of the season.

Montez was an undrafted free agent out of Colorado in 2020, and he is still looking to make his NFL debut. The twenty-five-year-old will now serve as the Lions' No. 3 QB behind Jared Goff and Nate Sudfield.
