New York Jets Rookie Remains Absent From Practice Due To Illness

The New York Jets season has been a promising one through Week 13, with a 7-5 record and a chance to break the longest playoff drought in the NFL, and now, they'll battle the Buffalo Bills in Week 14, in a game that could have genuine playoff implications for the remainder of the 2022 NFL season.

Word then spread this week of the flu going through Jets camp, with Corey Davis, Michael Clemons, D.J. Reed and George Fant all missing Wednesday's practice due to the illness, but now on Friday, all but Clemons have returned to the practice field in anticipation of Sunday's huge matchup.

For Clemons, it appears that he's been listed as questionable, but given the fact that he hasn't practiced all week and the Jets have incredible depth along the defensive line, it seems like a certainty that he will miss the AFC East heavyweight matchup.
