New York Jets Star Likely To Return In Week 16

The New York Jets suffered yet another one possession loss in Week 15, sending their season record back to 7-7 after a promising 5-2 start, but injuries ultimately caught up with them, with the biggest of all coming in Week 14 in the form of Quinnen Williams, causing him to miss the frustrating loss to the red-hot Detroit Lions.

With a short turnaround ahead of a Week 16 Thursday Night Football matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars, it appears that QB Mike White will again be inactive, but in positive news, the Jets are confident that they will get their superstar defensive tackle back from a calf injury.

Williams ended as the first place vote getter for the 2023 Pro Bowl in the AFC, and deservedly so, as his 2022 season has been fantastic thus far, racking up 11 sacks and being a consistent force along this line, but if the Jets are to break an 11-year playoff drought, they'll need him back at his best for the final three games of the year.
