NFL Three Stars For Week 13: Running Back

The running back position has become increasingly important in recent times, with several teams riding successful workhorses to plenty of victories, with the Cowboys, Jets and others all doing exactly that, but in Week 13, it was these three players that stood up and proved their worth more than others.

3. A.J. Dillon

Stat line: 18 carries, 93 yards, 1 Touchdown, 3 catches, 26 yards.

The Green Bay Packers have struggled all season long in 2022, and one of the biggest reasons for that, beyond the injuries and lack of offensive weapons on the outside is their lack of a run game, but in recent times, A.J. Dillon has flashed the star potential we've all come to see, and if he can play at the Week 13 level consistently for a season, this is a Pro Bowl running back.

2. Tony Pollard

Stat line: 12 carries, 92 yards, 2 Touchdowns.

For the past few seasons, Ezekiel Elliott has been the man in the Cowboys backfield, but this year, they've uncovered a stud in Tony Pollard with his physical running style, and even though Elliot got the bulk of the carries in the Week 13 decimation of the Indianapolis Colts, it was Pollard who stepped up and impacted the game in the biggest way.

1. Josh Jacobs

Stat line: 26 carries, 144 yards, 1 Touchdown.

At the beginning of the 2022 season, the Las Vegas Raiders turned down the fifth-year option on Josh Jacobs, but he's gone out this season and proved why he's capable of being the best running back in the entire NFL, and while the Week 13 performance wasn't as dominant as a week ago, he is still on pace to put up some incredible numbers on the back of it.
