Patriots Rule Out Wide Receiver For Sunday's Game

Set for a third straight absence.

The New England Patriots have ruled out wide receiver DeVante Parker for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

Kendrick Bourne should take over Parker's targets as he did in Week 16, racking up 100 yards and a touchdown as the No. 2 receiver behind Jakobi Meyers.

Parker will have one more chance to return to game action in the regular season when the Patriots play the Buffalo Bills in Week 18.

In 12 games this season in his Patriots' debut, the twenty-nine-year-old has 25 receptions for 460 yards and a touchdown on 40 targets.

Parker is a former first-round pick (14th overall) by the Dolphins in the 2015 NFL Draft. He spent the first seven seasons of his career with Miami before joining the Patriots this season.
