Philadelphia Eagles Star Quarterback Remains Absent From Practice

The Philadelphia Eagles have already clinched a playoff berth in 2022, but if they want to take the No. 1 seed in the NFC, which will come with the added bonus of a Week 1 playoff bye, they'll need to take care of business down the stretch, and right now, it's looking more and more likely that they'll have to do so without their starting Quarterback and MVP candidate.

Jalen Hurts injured his shoulder in the win over the Chicago Bears a week ago, and was absent from the Week 16 loss to Dallas, as Gardner Minshew was the starter in that game, and on Wednesday, the team confirmed that he has not yet returned to practice.

With a spot in the playoffs already locked down, but the No. 1 spot still up for grabs, it will be interesting to see how the Eagles handle him going forward, as they'll need Hurts for a deep Super Bowl run, and with the Saints and the Giants up next, we will wait and see how they deal with their star leader.
