Rams Wide Receiver Out For Rest Of Season

Done for the season.

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said Tuesday that wide receiver Ben Skowronek will miss the rest of the season due to a calf strain.

Skowronek was reportedly banged-up following a reception in the first half of Monday's game against the Green Bay Packers, however, the wide receiver appeared to gut it out, playing 67 percent of the snaps.

Sadly, the injury will prevent Skowronek from playing again this season, a tough blow in a good opportunity for him to cement himself a role in the team's offense next season.

The twenty-five-year-old ends his season with 39 receptions for 376 yards on 61 targets over 14 games. He is a former seventh-round pick out of Notre Dame by the Rams in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Rams' banged-up receiver room is now down to Van Jefferson, TuTu Atwell, Brandon Powell, Austin Trammell and Lance McCutcheon.
