Saints Running Back Misses Second Straight Practice With Personal Issue

Missed his second straight practice.

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was not spotted at Thursday's practice, marking the second straight day he's missed practice.

The reason for his absence was listed as ''quadriceps/personal,'' so it's unclear whether the quad issue or the personal matter is what's keeping Kamara from practicing this week. It was later reported that whatever the issue is, it kept him away the Saints' facility entirely.

His participation at Friday's practice will be very telling in his status for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

If Kamara can't go this week, David Johnson and Eno Benjamin will be the team's running backs, although Taysom Hill would figure to continue to get plenty of touches.
