Seahawks Cut Running Back

The Seattle Seahawks signed him when Kenneth Walker was dealing with an ankle injury.

However, now that Walker's healthy, they have no need for him anymore.

The Seahawks have cut running back Wayne Gallman.

Gallman will be let go without ever receiving a promotion to the team's active roster.

The twenty-eight-year-old will now work towards earning another opportunity with an NFL team.

The five-year veteran has yet to play in a game this season. For his career, Gallman has 1,548 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 366 attempts. He is a former fourth-round pick by the New York Giants in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Gallman spent the first four seasons of his career with the Giants, and split the 2021 season with the Atlanta Falcons and the Minnesota Vikings.
