Seahawks Rule Out Safety For Week 16

A tough absence for the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks have ruled out safety Ryan Neal for Saturday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Neal has been dealing with a knee issue over the past few weeks, but he will miss his first game of the season in Week 16.

The twenty-six-year-old has played almost every defensive snap this season, recording 66 total tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles, one interception and eight passes defended across 14 games. As a result, his presence will be missed on Saturday.

With his absence, Joey Blount and Teez Tabor will have to step up beside Quandre Diggs.

Neal is a former undrafted free agent out of South Illinois.
