Seattle Seahawks Tight End Set To Take On Larger Role

The Seattle Seahawks lost tight end Will Dissly to season-ending injured reserve earlier this week.

As a result, tight end Colby Parkinson will likely see an increased workload moving forward over the last two games of the regular season.

If the Seahawks make the playoffs, Dissly could return, but for now, Parkinson will try to help the team reach the postseason.

This past week, he saw a season-high 30 offensive snaps and hauled in three catches for 45 yards on four targets. In 15 games this season, the twenty-three-year-old has 18 receptions for 239 yards and a touchdown on 24 targets.

Parkinson is a former fourth-round pick by the Seahawks in the 2020 NFL Draft.
