Surprising Update On Chargers Star Left Tackle

Following a Week 3 battle with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Los Angeles Chargers fans were devastated to find out that star left tackle Rashawn Slater tore a bicep tendon in his left arm, and unfortunately, it appeared that he had little hope of returning anytime in the regular season.

Today, Head Coach Brandon Staley told the media that he wouldn't be surprised if Slater could return sometime this regular season, as he has been working out at the Chargers facility, and has been looking good in recent times, and given where LA find themselves in the AFC Wild Card race, it would be a major boost.

Whether or not this becomes reality is yet to be seen, but with some tough games upcoming before a potential playoff run, the Chargers will need all the help they can get, so this would be a surprising boost for LA that could help them become genuine contenders.
