Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tackle Done for the Year

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without Josh Wells for the remainder of the season, as he has a torn patellar tendon and is set for season-ending surgery.

With the Buccaneers currently trying to cement a playoff spot, losing Wells could not have come at a worse time. At the time of this writing, their underwhelming 7-8 record has them at the top of the NFC South. Yet, the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints are right behind them with their 6-9 records.

Alas, we will have to wait and see how the Buccaneers alter their roster given Wells' injury. Alas, the 6-foot-6 tackle's season ends at 11 games played.
