Texans Sign Running Back

With Dameon Pierce dealing with an ankle injury, the Houston Texans are adding another running back.

The Texans have signed running back Gerrid Doaks to their practice squad.

Doaks was cut from the Texans' practice squad back on Nov. 17 after the team claimed Eno Benjamin off waivers from the Arizona Cardinals. However, after the team cut Benjamin on Tuesday, they are bringing Doaks back.

With Pierce looking unlikely to play on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, the twenty-four-year-old could be elevated to the active roster this week.

The 2021 seventh-round pick by the Miami Dolphins has yet to make his NFL debut.
