Texans Wide Receiver Expected To Miss Second Straight Game

The Houston Texans are well on their way to the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, as they've struggled mightily in 2022 even with solid seasons from both Dameon Pierce and Derek Stingley Jr., and it looks like life is going to get even harder for this offence in the coming weeks.

The team announced that they'd be making the switch back to Davis Mills as the starter for the remainder of the 2022 season, but it's not going to be easy in his first game, as he takes on the incredibly talented Dallas Cowboys defence, and may potentially be without their top two weapons on the outside.

Today, the team announced that they expect Brandin Cooks to miss the Week 14 matchup with Dallas, and with Nico Collins questionable as well, this could get incredibly ugly for Houston, who's fans are likely already looking towards the 2023 draft.
