Update On New York Jets Rookie Tackle

Yesterday, the New York Jets made the shock move to place rookie tackle Max Mitchell on the Non-Football Injury list, ruling him out for the remainder of the season, and when the move was made, no extra details were made public, leaving Jets fans scratching their head.

Today, the team revealed that it was due to blood clots that were found in his calf and his lung, but thankfully for the young standout, it's not expected to effect him long-term, and he is expected to make a full recovery in time for the 2023 NFL season.

Mitchell was taken in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and was thrust into the starting role immediately for New York, and he more than held his own, and now, with the future looking bright for the Jets, it's clear that Max is going to play a big role in that.
