Veteran Cornerback To Make Carolina Panthers Season Debut In Week 17

Despite their inconsistencies in 2022, the Carolina Panthers are still alive in the NFC South race, and will battle the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 17, with a win making Week 18 a potential 'win-and-in' situation, so any boost at this point in the season will be helpful to their playoff chances.

In Week 17, they'll get that boost, as veteran cornerback Josh Norman, who began his NFL career back in 2012 with the Panthers will make his season debut after being picked up as a free agent, and while he's not expected to be the player he once was, his veteran leadership and talent will help this team immensely.

Head Coach Steve Wilks followed up this announcement by saying that he would be on a snap could in this one, but with two weeks to go before a potential playoff run, he should be fit by the time they get there.
