49ers Star Linebacker Leaves Game With Injury; To Undergo MRI On Monday

He was forced out of Sunday's game early.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that linebacker Dre Greenlaw will undergo an MRI on Monday on the back injury he suffered during Sunday's win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Before leaving the game in the second half, Greenlaw had eight tackles, the fifth game in a row that he's recorded eight or more.

We should have more word on his status on Monday, following his MRI.

In 15 games this season, the twenty-five-year-old has 127 total tackles, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one interception and six passes defended.

There's a good chance the team may decide to hold him out of their regular season finale next week against the Arizona Cardinals.
