Browns Request To Interview Candidates For Their Defensive Coordinator Job

The Cleveland Browns failed to bounce back and make the playoffs in 2022, but with DeShaun Watson at Quarterback, they were able to improve greatly at the end of the season, and now, they'll be looking to bring in a new defensive coordinator to help them return to the playoffs in 2023.

Two names have stuck out as candidates for the job, with that being former Miami Dolphins Head Coach, and current Pittsburgh Steelers Senior Defensive Assistant Brian Flores, while the other is former New England Patriots linebacker and current Inside Linebackers Coach Jerod Mayo.

With talent all over the defence, led by Denzel Ward and Myles Garrett, this job should be appealing for anyone looking to take a step up in the coaching ranks, and while there will certainly be other coaches interviewed, it's safe to say Cleveland would love to lock either one of these names up.
