Chiefs Reliable Cornerback Suffers Concussion In Sunday's Win

Not good.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said cornerback L'Jarius Sneed is in the concussion protocol.

Sneed exited Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a head injury, which has now been confirmed to be a concussion.

However, the Chiefs have a week off to prepare for next week's Super Bowl game against the Philadelphia Eagles, so hopefully that will give Sneed time to clear protocol.

The twenty-six-year-old appeared in 17 games this season for the Chiefs, recording 108 total tackles, 3.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, three interceptions and 11 passes defended.

His absence in the Super Bowl would be a tough blow to the Chiefs.
