Dallas Cowboys Cut Wide Receiver

The Dallas Cowboys have cut James Washington. As a result of this move, Washington is now a free agent and will be aiming to find a new home before the season is officially over.

Washington was barely utilized by the Cowboys, as he made just two appearances for them during Weeks 14 and 15. During those two contests, he did not record a single reception, so it is fair to state that he did not get too many chances to make an impact while with Dallas. As a result, he is now off of their roster.

Washington could certainly garner some interest, whether he is signed to a practice squad or active roster. After all, he has a good amount of experience, as he has played in five NFL seasons. In 62 career games, he has recorded 11 touchdowns, 114 receptions, and 1,629 receiving yards.
