Dallas Cowboys Sign Former First-Round Pick Cornerback

Joining a new team one day after being released by the Buffalo Bills.

The Dallas Cowboys have signed cornerback Xavier Rhodes to their practice squad.

Rhodes was released from the Bills after he made it into just two games this season. With cornerbacks Anthony Brown and Jourdan Lewis out for the year, the Cowboys are a good team for Rhodes to join.

The thirty-two-year-old veteran is in his 10th NFL season and is really nothing more than a depth option at this point, but he could be promoted to the active roster for the playoffs.

Rhodes is a former first-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2013 NFL Draft.
