Denver Broncos Backup Plan At Head Coach Potentially Revealed

Right now, it appears that the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans are the two final teams remaining in the battle to bring in DeMeco Ryans as their next Head Coach, but with his connections to the Texans, it appears they are currently the front runners.

In the case that he does choose Houston, it appears the Broncos have zeroed in on their second choice, which would be Philadelphia Eagles Defensive Coordinator Jonathan Gannon, who's been drawing plenty of interest as of late.

If Broncos can’t/don’t want Sean Payton and/or DeMeco Ryans they must expand their search.

A few names to keep an eye on are Eagles DC Jonathan Gannon and Bengals OC Brian Callahan. Broncos interviewed both last year and are hot HC candidates.

With so many candidates and so few jobs available, this hiring cycle has already been wild, but with so many jobs to go, it's about to get even crazier, so when Gannon makes his official decision, it could kick start plenty of other dominos falling.
