Giants Saquon Barkley Says Coach Will Have To Stop Him From Playing This Week

It's been a fantastic year for him.

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley said, ''unless Brian Daboll tells me differently, I'm playing.''

With the Giants already locked into their exact seed for the playoffs, they have nothing to play for, however, it sounds like Barkley is prepping to play in Week 18.

The Athletic's Dan Duggan thinks the Giants will rest all their starters. That seems the obvious move, as the team would rather not risk injury to any key players in a pointless game.

Regardless, we'll have to wait and see what decision the coaches make.

In 16 games this season, the twenty-five-year-old running back has carried the ball 295 times (career-high) for 1,312 yards (career-high) and 10 touchdowns. He's also racked up 57 receptions for 338 yards on 76 targets.
