Green Bay Packers Sign Kicker

Headed to Green Bay.

The Green Bay Packers have signed kicker Matt Ammendola to their practice squad.

After having spent time with both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Arizona Cardinals this season, Ammendola is now in line to serve as the Packers' backup kicker behind veteran Mason Crosby.

Over four games this season, the twenty-six-year-old has gone 5-for-7 on his field goal attempts along with a 5-for-7 record on extra point attempts.

Barring any injury to Crosby, Ammendola likely won't get into a game.
