Jeff Saturday Wants To Return As Colts Head Coach In 2023

The experiment didn't work, but who's surprised?

Speaking Monday, Indianapolis Colts interim head coach Jeff Saturday confirmed he would like to return as the team's official head coach in 2023.

Speaking at Monday's press conference, Saturday said, ''I have a very clear vision of how I can turn this football team around."

Saturday's mid-season replacement of Frank Reich was a shock to football fans across the league, with the team going 1-7 with a -80 point differential following the move.

This didn't come as much of a surprise to anyone, however, as Saturday had never held a coaching job before, other than a high school team. That showed throughout the season, especially when it came to clock management and coaches' challenges among other things.

We'll have to wait and see if Jim Irsay still believes in Jeff Saturday as the head coach of the Colts moving forward.
