Kansas City Chiefs Running Back Won't Play This Weekend

After a fantastic 2022 regular season from beginning to end, the Kansas City Chiefs earned themselves a first-round playoff bye after clinching the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and now, after a week off, they'll take on the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend.

Unfortunately for the Chiefs, after activating running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire from the Injured Reserve this past week, he wasn't able to get back in time, so he will officially be inactive ahead of the must-win game against a talented young squad.

After two promising campaigns to start his NFL career, Edwards-Helaire certainly had his worst season as a Pro in 2022, but with so much on the line at this time of year, the Chiefs will definitely love to have him over the next few weeks, so they'll be hoping for a return for the AFC Championship game if they get through this week.
