Miami Dolphins Confirm Starting QB Will Miss Week 18

The Miami Dolphins lost a crucial matchup to the New England Patriots in Week 17, pushing them to the brink of elimination in the 2022 NFL season, and if they are to make the playoffs, they'll need to beat the Jets in Week 18 and get some help, which isn't looking likely at this point.

What makes that even harder is the fact that today, Head Coach Mike McDaniel announced that Tua Tagovailoa would once again miss action in Week 18 as he continues to recover from a concussion, with Skylar Thompson and Teddy Bridgewater to receive first-team reps all week long.

Without Tua this season, this offence has taken a massive step back, and with so much on the line in Week 18, they'll need to rely on one of their two backups to avoid yet another disappointing end to what has been a very promising season.
