Miami Dolphins Running Back Injures Thumb

The Miami Dolphins earned the AFC's last Wildcard spot with their 11-6 win over the New York Jets in Week 18, but it may have come at a cost. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, running back Raheem Mostert suffered a broken thumb in yesterday's game. Mostert played 24 snaps against the Jets on Sunday, handling the ball 11 times for 71 rushing yards. He led the Dolphins in rushing this year with 891 yards at an efficient 4.9 yards per carry.

Mostert's questionable availability for Sunday's Wildcard matchup against the Bills couldn't come at a worse time. Mostert had his best game of the year when the Dolphins played the Bills in Week 15, totalling a season-high 156 yards from scrimmage on only 18 touches in a narrow 32-29 defeat.
