New England Patriots Keep Playoff Hopes Alive

It may have been a nail-biter until the end, but the New England Patriots have kept their playoff hopes alive after defeating the Miami Dolphins by a 23-21 final score.

With this win, they now have an 8-8 record, just like the Dolphins. Thus, if the Pats can defeat the Buffalo Bills next week, they will be in the playoffs. However, the Bills are heavily favored, so things certainly aren't guaranteed on that front.

Alas, we will have to wait and see if the Pats can sneak their way into the postseason from here.
