New England Patriots Sign Wide Receiver

Bringing him back.

The New England Patriots have signed wide receiver Scotty Washington to a reserve/future contract.

Washington spent the first two seasons of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals before he joined the Patriots at the beginning of the season.

Washington finally made his debut this season after being elevated for Week 16's defeat by the Bengals. However, he did not see a target over 20 offensive snaps.

The twenty-five-year-old then landed on the team's practice squad injured list with an unknown issue, but appears healthy now heading into the offseason.

The 6-foot-5, 217 pounds receiver will look to secure a role with the offense in 2023.
