New Orleans Saints Reveal Injury To First-Round Offensive Tackle

The New Orleans Saints 2022 season was full of ups and downs, but with all the injuries to key players, they struggled to find consistency, and even in a poor NFC South, they were unable to compete with the teams in their division, despite the winner racking up an 8-9 record on the season.

To turn it around, the Saints will be looking to hit on their key draft picks going forward, including their 2022 draft picks, which was highlighted by Chris Olave and Trevor Penning, the former of which will be a candidate for Offensive Rookie of the Year, but unfortunately, the latter suffered an unfortunate injury late in the season.

Now, Head Coach Dennis Allen has confirmed that it was a Lisfranc Injury for the first-round Offensive Tackle, which will require surgery, but fortunately, it was not the same foot that he suffered an injury too previously, meaning that he should be good to go by the time 2023 rolls around.
