New York Giants Sign Running Back

Keeping him around.

The New York Giants have signed running back Jashaun Corbin to a reserve/future deal.

Corbin signed on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State in May.

The twenty-two-year-old spent the entire season on the team's practice squad, and although he was elevated to the active roster for the wild-card round game against the Minnesota Vikings he was inactive for the game.

Corbin has yet to make his NFL debut, however, over 35 games played at Florida State, he rushed 320 times for 1,771 yards and 14 touchdowns along with 60 receptions for 360 yards and two touchdowns.

He'll now have the opportunity to earn a bigger role with the team moving forward.
