One San Francisco 49ers Running Back Returns To Practice, One Remains Out

While the 49ers defence is always going to keep them in the game, winning a Super Bowl will require this talented offence to step up in the biggest moments, and if they want to do that against Philadelphia or either AFC team left in the race, they'll need to be as healthy as possible.

Today, the team received some good and bad news on that front, as Christian McCaffrey officially returned to practice in full capacity, while Elijah Mitchell remains absent, and while McCaffrey has taken the majority of touches in recent times, Mitchell still plays a solid role.

The inexperience of Brock Purdy may come up at some point over the next few weeks, and if that does indeed happen, having McCaffrey there will be a godsend, and with his Touchdown in 9 straight games, he's ready to finally make his mark in the most important games.
