Panthers Request Three Offensive Coordinators To Interview For Head Coach Job

The Carolina Panthers finished their season with a solid 6-6 record since Interim Head Coach Steve Wilks took over, and with Sam Darnold, their improved running game and other talented pieces, this is certainly a team that has a bright future if they play this off-season right.

There's plenty to do, but first things first, this team needs a new Head Coach, and while Wilks should certainly be a candidate to return, the team has officially requested to talk to three offensive coordinators, including Buffalo's Ken Dorsey, the Eagles Shane Steichen and Detroit's Ben Johnson, which would all signify a shift towards a younger Head Coach.

With a great running game, a young QB finally showing promise and some key picks in the upcoming 2023 draft, this is a team that has a great chance to turn it around, and if they pick up the right Head Coach, the wide open NFC South crown could be heading to Carolina next year.
