Pittsburgh Steelers Promote Defensive Lineman

The Pittsburgh Steelers have promoted Renell Wren to their active roster.

Wren has not appeared in a game this season, so this is big news for the 6-foot-5 DL. He will be aiming to put together a strong performance for Pittsburgh, as it could lead him to remain on their roster for the final portion of the year. 

In 12 career NFL games, Wren has recorded nine combined tackles.
