Seattle Seahawks Sign Wide Receiver

Keeping him around.

The Seattle Seahawks have signed wide receiver Cade Johnson to a reserve/future contract.

Johnson was elevated to the active roster for Saturday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the wild-card round, marking the fourth time this season that he had been promoted.

Johnson, who became the Seahawks' No. 3 wide receiver over the final three games with Marquise Goodwin out, hauled in all three of his targets for 39 yards during Saturday's game.

The twenty-four-year-old receiver has now signed a reserve/future contract with the Seahawks in back-to-back seasons. With his productive finish to the season, Johnson will enter next season with a solid base.
