Washington Commanders Provide Update on Jonathan Allen

Washington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera told reporters that Jonathan Allen hyperextended his knee, and he is set to have more tests this week because of it.

Allen left Week 17's game early due to an injury, and now we have a bit more clarification as to what has happened. Now, we will have to wait and see what results come back from his test.

With the Commanders out of the playoffs, it may be best to sit Allen instead of having him risk the chance of worsening his injury. In 16 games this season, he has 65 combined tackles to go along with 7.5 sacks and an interception.
