Washington Commanders Tight End Likely To Be Released This Off-Season

The Washington Commanders had a solid 2022 season, but without the lack of a Quarterback, they failed to make the playoffs in a tough NFC East division, and as a result, it appears that QB Carson Wentz is on his way to being released.

It appears that he isn't the only Commanders player on the brink of release either, as word broke today that tight end Logan Thomas could be on the way out too, after a season in which he struggled following an ACL injury back in 2021.

With just 39 catches for 323 yards, it appears the Commanders believe they can get better production out of the QB and tight end spot with young, up and coming players, so while it's not confirmed, it makes sense for Washington to move on.
